Did you know that wood is a plant and that it really matters when and how you harvest it?

Even in the old Rome, Caesar let people beheaded when they built ships with wood harvested at the wrong time! In the last 100 years we just forgot this basic knowledge because of our greed and belief in highly toxic chemicals instead of very old knowledge.

Its quite simple:

- Harvest trees only when they have their biological winter.

- Harvest only after fullmoon and stop at newmoon.

- If possible, let the branches on for at least half a year to suck more water out of the trunk and when you are on a hill, let the tree facing downhill.

- Let it naturally dry for 1-5 years, it needs some time to become calm wood.

When following this basic rules, you will have perfect wood to build a house which will last several generations without using any kind of chemicals or paint! Its a plant, its alive, it has seasons and it reacts to the moon. If you dont beleive, why do we have low and high tide? Because the moon does not affect anything?

Stop using glue, colors and other chemicals to make toxic waste out of natural wood. Alwys ask where the comes from, dont buy stuff at ikea and other discounters, dont beleive the hipe, they destroy nature, even if their marketung tells you its a great company, they are freaking bullshiting you, its called marketing.

Ask very old wood workers or read books of E. Thoma who wrote down the old and new knowledge. Fuck capitalism, fuck faster, higher, stronger, more more more... get back to the basics and take your time.
